My name is Amy, and I’m the mom behind Greater Hartford Moms. I live in Avon, Connecticut with my husband, David, and our sweet son, Ollie.
After becoming a mom myself, I found myself craving a stronger sense of community — a place where local moms could easily find trusted resources, family-friendly events, and real connections. When I discovered The Local Moms Network, a national network created for moms, by moms, I knew it was exactly what our area needed. I launched Greater Hartford Moms to bring that mission to life here in Hartford County: giving moms the gift of time by curating everything they need in one welcoming, accessible place. Through this platform, I’m proud to connect local families with businesses, events, and each other — making motherhood a little easier, more joyful, and more connected.
Outside of GHM, I work full-time as a Talent Development Program Manager in the pharmaceutical software industry. My career has been dedicated to building programs that support growth, development, and meaningful connections — a passion that naturally extends into my work here at Greater Hartford Moms. Creating spaces where people feel empowered, informed, and supported is at the heart of everything I do.
